About Our Professional Counselors

Anne Mourtaja has worked at Access Counseling since 2009, first, as an LPC Intern, then earning her LPC in 2014. She received her MS from Purdue University and BS from St. Louis University. She taught elementary and middle school for 18 years in Texas and in South America. She worked as an elementary school counselor in Illinois and as a middle school counselor for Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in Houston, Texas for 8 years. She initiated peer mediation programs in two middle schools. She has facilitated workshops for parents on topics such as ADHD, parenting skills, divorce recovery and grief groups for children. She has initiated peer mediation programs in two middle schools. Her specialties include individual counseling, children (age 5 and older), anger management, conflict resolution and family counseling. She is bilingual and is able to conduct sessions in Spanish. Appointments are available Tuesday and Thursday.

 Linda Herndon Lee has  been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1994. She received a  Bachelor of Art degree from Southern Methodist University and a Master  in Science of Counseling from Corpus Christi State University. Linda  specializes in many areas which include family conflicts, marriage  counseling, depression and anxiety issues, life transitions, women’s  issues, and divorce recovery. Session formats include individual,  couples, or families (children age 12 and older). Appointments are available Tuesday and Thursday.
